Gumusluk is situated opposite Bodrum Peninsula, and takes 20 minutes by car or local bus from Bodrum. The village of Gumusluk is more of a fishing port, where there’s always the familiar buzz of activity and the smell of locally prepared seafood. It is used to be the ancient city of Myndos and has been declared a conservation area. Although life here is not as fast as in most of the other coastal villages of the world, but it is definitely interesting and captivating.
There has been a sudden rise in real estate property investment in the coastal village that comes alive with the sound of a single piston fishing boat and sleeps away in the beauty of a crimson sunset.
