Yalikavak, Bodrum
Yalękavak is located 18 kilometers from the city of Bodrum and is on the northwestern tip of the peninsula. It is bedecked with lemon and tangerine orchards. Yalękavak was first settled 2,000 BC and has ruins from the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine eras. Its western breezes during the hot summer months make it a particularly popular spot.
