The Apollon Holiday Village is located on the outskirts of the popular holiday resort of Altinkum.
Altinkum when translated means "Golden Sand" Altinkum is one hour and fifteen minutes drive from Bodrum airport. The main beaches at Altinkum gently disappear in to the calm Aegean sea making the beaches ideal for swimmers and non swimmers alike.

Meticulous planning and attention to every detail has been considered until we are satisfied that every apartment makes best use of the available space to give you the ideal apartment, the most obvious sign of this is the fact that the smallest bedroom in every apartment is big enough for two single beds or a double bed plus space for bedroom furniture.
All apartments are finished to the same specification which includes: fitted kitchen units including cooker unit and extractor, decorative coving to all rooms with built in down lighters to the lounge and kitchen area, air conditioning in lounge and all rooms, tiled floors, UPVC double glazing plus satellite TV and telephone points. All bathrooms are fully tiled and have toilet, shower and sink, the main bathrooms have Hilton style vanity units complete with mirror, shelves and cupboards, plus plumbing for the washing machine. Also fitted are toilet roll holder, towel hook, soap-dish and mouth was glass and holder. Hot water is provided by en electric boiler fitted in the main bathroom.

About the Immediate Vicinity
Lying on the sunny Aegean coast is the popular resort of Altinkum. Famous for its gently sloping, sandy beaches, fringing crystal clear waters. Altinkum means Golden Sands. Its two long, crescent beaches lie at each end of the resort, starting at the harbour and finishing at a rocky headland promontory, so providing over 1km of beach. The sun-warmed waters along the beach are mainly shallow for a couple of hundred metres and are ideal for both supervised children and none swimmers. Sun beds on the sands make it easy to relax in tan building comfort, or if you are feeling energetic canoes and pedalos are available for hire.
Come evening, Altinkum offers a huge choice of restaurants and bars to suit every taste, with most entertainment centred around the Dolphin square, seafront area. In the height of the summer the centre of the resort becomes very lively. Altinkum is not just about lazing around in the sunshine, as there is plenty to do during both the day and the evening. Even if history was never your thing at school, you cannot ignore the ancient world when you stay here, as Altinkum is close to many famous ancient sites where you can almost feel the past. Close to the development is the temple of Apollo, where the famous snake adorned head of Medusa stands. The sheer size of the columns is truly amazing. For a longer day out you can visit the inspiring ruins of Ephesus, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Or for something completely different take a boat trip to the Greek island of Samos or perhaps enjoy a walk round the nearby, beautiful Bafa lake with its magnificent mountain backdrop.
